Is there a minimum order quantity?

We do have a minimum order quantity, which is six pounds in weight - which is around 2.724 kilos, we understand.

When do I need to order my sausages?

We are now shipping all meat products on a monthly basis. Please place your order by 10am on the Monday of the first full week in the month. The sausages will be freshly made on the following Wednesday.

When will I receive my sausages?

For maximum freshness, we normally ship on Thursday for delivery on Friday.

Do I have to pay for delivery?

Our prices per pound (454gms) include next-day delivery by overnight courier to most mainland UK destinations, but our couriers charge £9 extra for some parts of Scotland, which we have to pass on to you. If you have any special delivery requirements let us know and our staff will be happy to help.

Is it safe to send sausages by courier?

It's perfectly safe. All our meat products are shipped in polystyrene food cartons and packed with ice packs to ensure they arrive in tip-top condition the following day.

Do i need to provide special delivery instructions?

In short, YES. If for whatever reason you're not in a position to answer the door when the courier arrives (and you haven't provided special delivery instructions), the courier will return your packages to the depot. The courier will then attempt to redeliver on Monday morning, by which time the contents will have spoiled. If, on the other hand, you have provided special delivery instructions, the courier will know exactly what to do with your packages (eg leave them in the garage or with your neighbour) and you'll be able to enjoy the contents at the weekend. NOTE: If you don't provide special delivery instructions and the courier is unable to deliver your packages on Friday, we won't be in a position to compensate for spoiled goods.
