Carters Butchers has always been a family-run business involving Chris, his wife and his son and daughter. At the end of November Chris retired and, as his children did not want to take on the business, it has now closed. Before his retirement Chris passed on his recipes to D W Walls who plan to make some of their sausages - at the moment they are making his Ludlow Pork, his chipolatas and his pork, onion, red currant and sage. more...
