Historically Ludlow has been the centre of a thriving local brewing industry for centuries and supported a major malting industry during the mid-1800s. Once boasting 20 breweries time was sadly called on this bevy of brewing when the last of these closed its doors in the 1930s and Ludlow has been going through a bit of a dry spell ever since.

70 years on, the beer is back in town courtesy of The Ludlow Brewing Company.
